Concept
This is a collage that I made to show how there are many different perspectives that war is seen from. There is the perspective of distressed soldiers that were sent to the heart of the war. There are commanding officers and political figureheads deciding the fates of others. Civilians frightened at what will happen next to their country. Military vehicles and the rubble that was once where people lived. I wanted to express the destructive nature of war and show how it impacts people's lives.
Goals
Create a meaningful collage that conveys an emotion using only newspaper.
